Avicena wins three INCITE Awards

The Avicena team is delighted to announce our success in winning all three nominated categories at The INCITE Awards 2021:

🏆 Startup of the Year

🏆 Research and Innovation – Industry Project of the Year

🏆 Transformative Solution of the Year

Established in 1991, the INCITE Awards is West Australia’s longest-running technology awards program and the premier ICT event in the state.

Avicena won the flagship Startup of the Year award amongst a strong field of new digital innovation companies.

Avicena also won the Research and Innovation award for Industry Project of the Year, recognising our successful research, development, and application of RT-LAMP chemistry for ultra-high-throughput pathogen screening.

Finally, Avicena won the Transformative Solution of the Year award for Sentinel’s ability to transform pathogen screening, streamlining and simplifying the process.

Avicena’s team is proud to have won three of the major INCITE award categories this year. Together with our recent major Federal Government grant award, the Incite awards can potentially lift Avicena’s profile and assist in showcasing our advanced high-throughput screening instrument to a broader audience.

We want to express our appreciation to WAITTA, the INCITE Awards team, and the judges for organising such a high-quality awards event. We are honoured to have participated with such high calibre finalists and to take the stage alongside them.
