Avicena is proud to unveil Avicena Sentinel. Our revolutionary molecular assay instrument screens up to 3,840 isothermal assays per hour (peak throughput) per instrument in real-life conditions with 35 minute total processing time per assay.
Sentinel is initially being applied for high-throughput screening for SARS-CoV-2, utilising saliva samples. Flexible by design, the instrument’s workflow can adapt to screen other pathogens such as dengue, hepatitis B, malaria, and influenza.
