Paul has a 30-year track record in the biomedical sector, having worked or studied in Australia, the UK and the US. Formerly, he was the Director of Research Services and Innovation for Telethon Kids Institute.

With more than 20 years as an executive and company director in the biotech/biomedical device sector, he was the founder of Phylogica/PYC Therapeutics (ASX:PYC) and director of Avita Medical NASDAQ CM: RCEL.

Paul holds a doctorate from Oxford and a Bachelor of Science from the UWA with postdoctoral fellowships from Harvard and Oxford. Paul holds 27 therapeutics and medical device patents, including for a Medical device that was marketed globally and for the PROTEINi® (protein interference) drug target discovery and validation technology of the award-winning Cambridge-based Company Phoremost UK.
